Video Production – Redcandle Photography & Design
Video is now a huge part of marketing and promotion. I have created videos and done video production and editing on numerous projects for artists, artist organizations, non-profits and small businesses. Some of the projects I’ve done include:
Instructional Training Videos
Spanish Language Videos
Content Marketing Videos
Video & Audio Engineering
Of course, video has become a primary medium for advertising, promotion, fundraising, instruction, image-building and more. There are good reasons why over 80% of businesses are using video marketing. According to studies, viewers claim to retain 95% of a message when obtained via video, and 72% of customers say they prefer to learn about a product or service through a video.
Videos are dynamic, conversational, motivational, and the majority of consumers prefer to watch a video over reading informational text. I personally espouse the idea of shorter videos, to match the short attention span of today’s viewers.
Video has helped my clients in many critical functions, including fundraising, staffing, image-building, promotion, in-house instruction, advertising and more.
What’s Involved in Video Production?
Video production basically involves pre-production, production, and post-production. Pre-production includes planning, writing, casting and preparation–all behind the scenes efforts preparing for the actual filming. Coming up with the concept, script, story-boarding, filming sites, actors, etc. Production is the filming and directing. Post-production is the video editing, audio engineering, and export of the video in the desired format.
Video is an exciting and dynamic medium that is here to stay. I really enjoy the story-telling aspect and potential of video, and the entire process of video production. I hope I have the opportunity to work with you on a video project to help accomplish your goals.
